We interrupt our regular programming with … The Flower Power Hour.

Anyone who was listening to Choice Classic Rock this past Saturday evening between 8pm and 11pm – Central time – heard something different from our normal programming:

Please welcome to the Choice Classic Rock family, a wonderful show called The Flower Power Hour.

The show features music from the Golden Age of Flower Power – the 60’s and 70’s, plus like-minded tunes from the 80’s right up to today. The show is hosted by the husband and wife team of Ken and MJ Rundel, who create their show from the George Carlin Studio, in the Bamboo Peace Palace, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

I promise Ken and MJ will rekindle your spirits with great album rock, including deep tracks you’ve forgotten or never heard of. Plus, you’ll be turned on to the best new music coming out today.

The Flower Power Hour will be heard every Saturday evening on Choice Classic Rock, from 8pm to 11pm Central time. If you need to calculate what time that is in your end of the world – please use this handy dandy time zone converter.

First off … Happy New Year from Choice Classic Rock! I hope that 2022 finds you happy, healthy and rockin’ to the sounds of Classic Rock!

I have added 26 new songs into high rotation on the playlist. Listen for brand new songs from the following artists:

Lastly, I have spent the last six months going through my music collection (see the photo above for a glimpse of part of it), and have added over 3000 new songs into the different parts of the playlist. There are now over 14,000 songs in rotation on Choice Classic Rock. Some of the more well-loved ones you will hear more often, but you are guaranteed to go months before hearing some songs repeat.
