Billy Gibbons – Rollin’ And Tumblin’. The first single from the ZZ Top guitar player’s latest solo album The Big Bad Blues.

Steve Perry – No Erasin’. The lead single from the ex-Journey vocalist’s new album Traces.

Steve Forbert – That’d Be Alright. The first single from his forthcoming album The Magic Tree.

Yes Featuring Anderson Rabin Wakeman – Fragile. A new song with the same name as one of their early albums.

Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators – Driving Rain. A rockin’ little number that will be found on the Guns n’ Roses guitar player’s new album Living The Dream.

Paul Simon – One Man’s Ceiling Is Another Man’s Floor. This new song is from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming album In the Blue Light.

Paul McCartney – Fuh You. This is the third song released from the ex-Beatle‘s album Egypt Station, which is set for release in September.

Elvis Costello & The Imposters – Unwanted Number. The “other” Elvis is back with a new song from his upcoming release Look Now.

Doyle Bramhall II – Everything You Need. This song features Eric Clapton on guitar, and will be found on Bramhall II‘s new album Shades.

I have just added 6 new tracks into high rotation from the following newly released classic rock albums:

Boz Scaggs – Out Of the Blues … For over 10 years now Boz Scaggs has been releasing albums that are grittier and more blues-based than his most popular albums from the mid-1970s to mid-1980s. This new album maintains that trend, taking the music back into the blues (contrary to what the album title says!) Listen for the tracks Little Miss Night and Day, I’ve Just Got to Forget You and Rock and Stick. Read the review here.

Elvin Bishop’s Big Fun Trio – Something Smells Funky ‘Round Here … Their previous debut album garnered a Grammy nomination and the band continues in a fun-filled bluesy direction. Listen for the hilarious take on those in power on the song Something Smells Funky ‘Round Here and the instrumental track Bob’s Boogie. Read the review here.

Bob Dylan – Live 1962 – 1966: Rare Performances from the Copyright Collections … This two-disc compilation of early concert recordings brings together material previously only available on the limited edition 50th Anniversary/Copyright Extension albums. Amazon Echo/Alexa Can Stream Choice Classic Rock

Are you an Amazon Echo/Alexa user? Do you use Echo and the Alexa voice recognition to stream music in your house? Then you can stream Choice Classic Rock over your Echo device. Since Choice Classic Rock is on TuneIn radio and you can access TuneIn radio from your Echo/Alexa device – you can start streaming us with a voice command.

However, you have to use the correct syntax to start the stream – or Alexa will think you are looking for a Classic Rock genre that doesn’t exist. Here is the WRONG way to do it (which unfortunately, is how the Echo/Alexa instructions tell you to do it): “Alexa, stream Choice Classic Rock on TuneIn.” This will not work …

Instead, use the following voice command: “Alexa, stream the station Choice Classic Rock on TuneIn.” Alexa needs to hear the word “station” before “Choice Classic Rock” to know this is the station you want. State the command using this syntax and it will start the stream and you will be happily listening to the best classic rock in the world!
