New Sheryl Crow, Rembrandts & More

I have just added 11 new songs into high rotation in the playlist. Eight of the songs are from the following newly released classic rock albums:

Sheryl Crow - Threads
Sheryl Crow – Threads

Sheryl Crow – Threads … In what she is calling her final full-length album, Crow has teamed up with 20 guest artists – most of which could be called of legends. These guests include the likes of Stevie Nicks, Joe Walsh, Eric Clapton, Sting, Keith Richards, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson and more! Listen for the tracks Beware of Darkness (featuring Clapton, Sting and Brandi Carlile), Flying Blind (featuring James Taylor), Everything Is Broken (featuring Jason Isbell) and Redemption Day (featuring a duet with the late Johnny Cash). Read the review here.

The Rembrandts – Via SatelliteDanny Wilde and Phil Solem – return with their first new album in eighteen years. The album features the same gorgeous chords the band was always known for (think of the theme song from the sit-com FriendsI’ll Be There For You). Listen for the songs How Far Would You Go and Broken Toy. Read the review here.

ZZ Top – Goin’ 50 … The Texas blues rockers latest album celebrates 50 years of existence with a 50 song compilation release. Listen for a smoking live version of Waiting For the Bus/Jesus Just Left Chicago.

Jack Tempchin – One More Time With Feeling … This album is a personal collection of songs from a songwriter beloved and well-known for his contributions to The Eagles‘ catalog, with songs such as Peaceful Easy Feeling and Already Gone. Listen for the title track One More Time With Feeling – which he co-wrote with the late Glenn Frey (of The Eagles).

New Singles

The other 3 songs added into high rotation are from forthcoming albums. Tune in and listen for the following tracks:

Robbie Robertson – I Hear You Paint Houses and Let Love Reign … These 2 tracks are from the former The Band guitarist’s upcoming album Sinematic, which is due for release on September 20th, 2019.

Eddie Money – Brand New Day … This track is from an album of the same name, which was due for release in May of 2019, but seems to have been removed from the release schedule after his cancer diagnosis. Hopefully, it will see the light of day soon and the Money Man will return to full health.
