Steve Forbert – The Magic Tree … The singer/songwriter’s latest album was supposed to be an album of acoustic demos that would accompany the release of his autobiography Big City Cat: My Life In Folk-Rock, but instead, he hired some musicians and overdubbed new tracks onto the demos, resulting in a delightfully cohesive addition to his catalogue. Ann Wilson – Immortal … The vocalist for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Heart returns with another album of covers – celebrating the Immortal status of artists who have inspired her career. Yes – Live At the Apollo … Featuring Yes members Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman – the album finds this incarnation of the band celebrating 50 years of existence with a tight, polished performance that was captured in early 2017 at Manchester, England’s Apollo Theatre.
