John Kay & Steppenwolf - Steppenwolf At 50
John Kay & Steppenwolf – Steppenwolf At 50

I have just added 3 new tracks into high rotation featuring Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow, Steppenwolf and Sting & Shaggy. Tune in now and listen for songs from the following albums:

Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow – Memories In Rock II … this live double disc album captures a 2017 “reunion” concert that showcases some Rainbow tunes with a few Deep Purple tunes thrown in. Listen for the song Man On the Silver Mountain/Woman From Tokyo. Read the review here.

John Kay & Steppenwolf – Steppenwolf At 50 … this triple disc album contains 2 CDs of rare and deeper tracks, as well as 1 CD of a live recording of some of their best-known work. Listen for  previously unreleased track Compared To What. Read the review here.

Sting & Shaggy – 44/876 … this is an interesting combination of Sting and Reggae man Shaggy – but it definitely works. Listen for the track Dreaming In the U.S.A. Read the review here.

New Moody Blues, Richie Blackmore’s Rainbow and More!

The Moody Blues - Days Of Future Passed Live
The Moody Blues – Days Of Future Passed Live

I have just added some newly released classic rock tracks into the “new music” high rotation slot on the station. Tune in now and listen for songs from the following albums:

The Moody Blues – Days Of Future Passed Live … recorded live with the Toronto World Festival Orchestra, this album captures one set of live “greatest hits” songs and then the fully performed album Days Of Future Passed. Listen for live versions of the tracks Question and The Story In Your EyesRead the review here.

Neil Young + Promise Of the Real – Paradox … this album is a soundtrack to a movie of the same name – which was filmed by Neil Young‘s partner Daryl Hannah. Listen for the track Peace TrailRead the review here.

I have also added the following newly released songs into the “new music” high rotation slot:

Waiting For A Sign by Richie Blackmore’s Rainbow. This is the first rock song Richie Blackmore (Deep Purple / Blackmore’s Night) has recorded in a very long time – and it was well worth the wait. Here’s hoping there’s more to come.

Philly Forget Me Not by Daryl Hall & John Oates and Train. This track is a salute to the hall-of-fame duo’s hometown – and is a grooving little number (if I do say so myself).

Walls by Bon Jovi. This is the latest single release from the bands 2017 album This House Is Not For SaleRead the review here.
